ABOUT ANNEVA
As the Founder and Director of Center for Calmer Living, Anneva brings a varied background to bear on its many offerings.
She spent two (2) years as a Health Educator with the Peace Corps, in Colombia, South America. There, she taught Health in both public and private schools, in a small town on the West Coast. She is fluent in Spanish.
A graduate of Trinity University, Washington, DC, she has also completed post-graduate courses in Health Promotion Counseling at Trinity; and in Psychology, at the Pacifica Graduate Institute in Carpenteria/Santa Barbara, California. This course of study has given Anneva a unique and broad baseline from which to tap her vast knowledge and experience in Wellness Consulting. She has also completed a two (2)-year Nutrition and Counseling program at the Institute for Integrative Nutrition in New York City, attaining Board Certification as a Holistic Health Counselor, by the American Association of Drugless Practitioners (AADP). She then went to India and completed further studies in Counseling and Ayurveda (the 5,000 year old Indian system of health and medicine).
Anneva has long been interested in the Intuitive Arts. She has been reading Tarot Cards and Personal Energies for over 25 years, as well as working with Astrology Charts.
Anneva has also studied Archetypes as a tool for Self-knowledge, with Caroline Myss, PhD, a renowned Medical Intuitive and Spiritual Teacher. Anneva has taught the Tarot in both India and New York.
At Center for Calmer Living Anneva offers to both individuals and groups, programs in Stress Management for Better Health, Nutritional Counseling and Intuitive Tarot and Energy Readings to help clients unravel problems and conflicts about which it is difficult to gain an unbiased perspective. She also offers Astrological Consultations, with special emphasis on relationships.
